Weenlo from a client’s perspective: Groupe Fournier

As part of the strategic overhaul of its Supply Chain master plan, Fournier Group (Mobalpa, SoCoo’c, Perene) chose Weenlo to de-risk its studies and streamline the simulation of new scenarios. After an initial month of use, Anthony Mocellin shares his feedback.

Moving from Excel to a digital twin

Fournier Group is currently undertaking a multi-year strategic overhaul of its Supply Chain master plan.

Until now, the financial modeling required for these studies was handled in Excel—a process that demanded extensive data manipulation and limited the ability to run multiple scenarios.

The challenge was twofold: de-risk investment studies by eliminating human error, while moving beyond spreadsheet constraints to easily simulate different scenarios and uncover new optimization opportunities.

It was during a Serious Game hosted by Weenlo that Fournier Group first discovered the digital twin concept and its concrete applications for the Supply Chain.

Why Fournier Group Chose Weenlo

After evaluating three competing solutions, Fournier Group selected Weenlo based on four key criteria highlighted by Anthony Mocellin:

Ease of use: an intuitive, engaging tool free from unnecessary complexity.
Functional fit: a solution tailored precisely to their simulation needs, without superfluous settings.
Domain expertise: a shared understanding of Supply Chain challenges and seamless collaboration with Weenlo experts.
Clear reporting: clear, easy-to-digest outputs that make it simple to share simulation findings and present them to the executive committee.

“With the experts at Weenlo, we speak the same language; they truly understand our industry.”

Early results after just one month of use

Toward new distribution scenarios

Following this initial onboarding and recalibration phase, Fournier Group can now leverage the digital twin to explore its future distribution networks.

The goal: test various configurations, assess their impact, and gain data-driven insights to support decision-making for the evolution of its Supply Chain master plan.

This customer story also showcases the value of Weenlo Serious Games: giving companies a hands-on experience with the digital twin before deploying it to address their own operational challenges.
